We’ll provide you with a data sheet matching your model that you can use to collect information about prospective projects. You will enter the information about a firm or project – such as the firm’s investment, the number of workers, average salaries, and other inputs – and the model produces a short executive summary as well as a comprehensive 30+ page report, in a format that you will review and approve. The report includes economic impacts resulting from the project and detailed cost-benefit calculations for each taxing district you indicate. Additionally, the executive summary and full report include an analysis of possible tax abatement and incentives. To help you determine the right level of incentives, the model includes a What-If Analysis which allows the user to determine the incentive dollar amount associated with a specified rate of return or payback period for a project.
Licensing Agreement – The licensing agreement for the model allows your organization to perform an unlimited number of analyses throughout the year. The license is renewable on an annual basis.
Review – We will develop and provide the model to you within three weeks of your request. The model will be customized to your local area and specifications. An initial walk-through of the program will also be provided, allowing users to become familiar with the model and for us to answer any questions you may have.
Support – Impact DataSource will provide unlimited technical assistance by phone or email, as you use the model during the year. We will tweak the model throughout the year, as needed.
One Free Independent Analysis – With the one year licensing agreement, Impact DataSource will prepare one free economic impact report of a project that does not fit the model, may be a complicated or requires a third-party report to present to state or local government officials. We offer discounted prices for additional reports if your organization requires more than one individual report that doesn’t fit the model during the year.
