Let our experienced, professional economists prepare economic and fiscal impact reports to evaluate your business or local economic development projects. Our reports are affordable, comprehensive and provide an independent, third-party review of your project.
The report will be completely customized for the community and will estimate the economic and fiscal impact resulting from a new or expanding project in the area. In addition, we can analyze incentives that may be considered for the project. We commonly evaluate property tax abatement, sales tax rebates, tax increment financing districts and cash incentives. To learn more about how we combine economic impacts, fiscal impacts and incentive analysis, visit Impact DataSource Puts It All Together.

Impact DataSource Report Process
-
Impact Datasource prepares a custom model and data sheet specific to your project.
Impact DataSource will develop a model and sample report, customized for your purpose and to your specifications. We will also provide you with an easy-to-complete data sheet to help collect relevant project information from the prospect firm. -
Impact DataSource collects data for the project.
You will complete as much information as possible on the data sheet and return the information to us. The data sheet you return to us will include information such as the name of the project, number of jobs, amount of investment in land and buildings. The data sheet also indicates the location of the facility so we may determine the relevant local taxing districts for the analysis. If you request, we can communicate directly with the prospect firm to obtain the data necessary to complete the project. -
Impact DataSource prepares a draft report for your review.
After collecting data, Impact DataSource will prepare the economic impact report and email it to you for review. Our reports typically estimate economic and fiscal impacts and analyze possible incentives. -
Impact DataSource fine tunes the report as the project moves forward.
Impact DataSource will tweak the report, as needed, as the project moves forward.
